Bulgarian host that WordPress officially recommends — and that is just as famous for its renewal prices.
Founded in 2004 in Sofia by Ivo Tzenov and a few university friends, it grew into one of the three hosts WordPress.org singles out on its recommendations page, alongside Bluehost and DreamHost. Technically it has often led: custom caching and security layers, and an early move onto Google Cloud's infrastructure. The reputation cuts both ways — fast support on one hand, steep increases at renewal on the other, an industry habit SiteGround is hardly alone in.
