Dell's software suite for monitoring and running PowerEdge servers from a distance.
OpenManage is Dell's umbrella name for the software that runs the server fleet: inventory, hardware health, firmware updates and alerts, gathered into the OpenManage Enterprise console. It works hand in hand with the iDRAC controller in every PowerEdge, which handles remote access even when the operating system is down. Where iDRAC is the eyes on a single server, OpenManage is the view across hundreds — the counterpart to HP's iLO plus its management tools.
