Enterprise Wi-Fi brand known for antenna technology that steers the signal to where the client is rather than shouting in all directions.

Ruckus Wireless was founded in 2004 and made its name with BeamFlex — adaptive antennas that shape the beam toward each client and dodge interference, giving stable coverage in messy places like arenas and hotels. The company went public in 2012 and has since changed hands in a chain of acquisitions: Brocade in 2016, on to Arris, and finally CommScope in 2019, where it now lives as RUCKUS Networks. The product line competes with Cisco Meraki and Aruba for the same enterprise customers who would rather not hand-feed access points one at a time.
