E-faktura

Web På svenska → Updated: 2026-10-31

The Swedish bill that lands straight in your online bank, pre-filled and waiting for a single approval.

Instead of a paper slip with an OCR number to type in, the company sends the bill through its bank and Bankgirot to the customer's online bank. Amount, due date and payee are already filled in, and the customer approves with one click. The payment leaves on the due date. Unlike direct debit (autogiro), the customer sees every bill before money moves, which makes it popular for amounts that vary.

For a long time a separate agreement was needed with every biller. The Alltid e-faktura ("always e-invoice") service flipped that: the customer says yes once in the bank and every connected company sends electronically from then on. Competition comes from digital mailboxes such as Kivra, which deliver the same bill as a PDF. Business invoices to public agencies take a different route, via Peppol.
