CEVA
ARM for signal processors — it licenses DSP and AI cores that sit, unseen, in billions of phones.
CEVA was spun off from DSP Group in 2002 and does for digital signal processors what ARM does for CPUs: it owns no fab and instead licenses cores that customers bake into their own chips. CEVA-X and CEVA-XC have sat in the baseband of countless mobile phones.
The NeuPro line targets AI and NPU workloads in sensors and hearables. As a pure IP vendor, CEVA is invisible to the end user yet shipped in hardware at billion-unit scale.
