async / await
Sintassi che permette di scrivere codice asincrono con l'aspetto di codice sincrono.
Invece dell'inferno dei callback (fetch().then(r => r.json()).then(d => ...)) si scrive const d = await fetch().then(r => r.json()). Il codice sembra lineare, ma sotto il cofano non è bloccante.
Esiste in JavaScript, Python, Rust, C#, Kotlin e altri, ed è costruito sulle Promise (o Future).
