Free, open-source CDN that serves npm and GitHub packages to half the web.

Started in 2012 by Dmitriy Akulov as a free public content network for open-source files, with no bandwidth caps and no paid tiers. Rather than run its own servers, jsDelivr load-balances across several commercial CDNs — Cloudflare, Fastly, Bunny, and others — and picks the fastest for each visitor. A file is cached permanently on first request, so a link keeps working even after the package is deleted from npm. URLs like /npm/ and /gh/ make any release directly linkable. Funded by sponsors rather than customers.
