Software company

Israeli company that turned the storeroom for built binaries into a product category of its own.

Its flagship, Artifactory, is a binary repository manager: a server that stores and caches whatever builds produce and consume — jar files, npm packages, Docker images and most things in between. In a CI/CD pipeline it sits between public registries and internal builds, so a package vanishing upstream doesn't take the whole release down with it.

Founded in 2008, the company listed on Nasdaq in 2020 under the ticker FROG. Its scanning tool Xray checks dependencies against known CVEs, which puts JFrog in the same security lane as its rival Sonatype.
