Security På svenska → Updated: 2026-10-18

German security consultant and programmer, known as "Fefe", whose blog has been one of Germany's most widely read since 2005.

On the technical side he is best known for dietlibc, a tiny C library for building small static binaries, the gatling web server and the libowfat library. All of it rests on the same conviction: less code means fewer bugs and a smaller attack surface.

Fefes Blog consists of short, frequently acerbic posts on security holes, politics and surveillance, with no comment section. He has long been a recurring voice around the Chaos Computer Club and speaks at its congresses. His low opinion of the security product industry is about as well known as the blog itself.
