New York firm that protects cyber-physical systems — industrial control, OT and medical equipment — from network-borne attacks.
Spun out of the Israeli incubator Team8 in 2015, it specialises in environments where a breach can shut down a power plant or a production line, not merely leak files. The platform speaks industrial protocols such as Modbus and OPC UA, maps PLCs and sensors, and alerts on anomalies — a response to the fact that factory networks sat wholly unmonitored for years while being wired to the internet. The 2021 acquisition of Medigate added hospitals' connected devices. The threat is concrete: malware like Triton showed that attackers now aim at the safety systems themselves, not just the data.
